Gov exposes deficient care at Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Missouri

By Carole Novielli - Posted at Saynsumthn's Blog: Planned Parenthood in St Louis, Missouri may lose it’s license to commit abortions following numerous reports of emergency responses summoned to the abortion clinic and claims of health deficiencies by state authorities. If the license is rejected, Missouri could become the first state without a single abortion facility, a concern PP’s president called, “Not a Drill.” But, president Leana Wen is known for her over-the-top and often deceptive language surrounding abortion, prompting the Washington Post to grant her four Pinocchios for using fabricated stats on illegal abortion deaths. For those interested in the truth on this topic, Live Action News has broken down this data in more detail previously , including also debunking Planned Parenthood’s false claims multiple times. 3 Negative Consequences From Not Prosecuting Parents For Obtaining Abortions

By Georgi Boorman and James Silberman - Posted at The Federalist: In March 1994, in Florida, 19-year-old mother Kawana Michele Ashley put a pillow over her stomach and “fired a .22 caliber pistol into the right side of her womb” in order to kill her six-month-old unborn daughter. Shot in the wrist, her baby was delivered by C-section and died of kidney failure two weeks later. In May 1997, in Georgia, Jacquelyn Aretha Hillman, a 19-year-old single mother, shot herself in the stomach and killed her unborn child. She was eight months pregnant. In Virginia, in March 2006, 22-year-old mother Tammy Wynette Skinner intentionally shot herself in the stomach the day she was supposed to give birth, after having contemplated “several ways to abort her child, including punching herself in the stomach and drinking bleach.” Her baby would have been named Kysharia. In all of these cases, prosecution for the crimes of criminal abortion, murder, and manslaughter was dropped. The perpetrato

ANALYSIS: Debunking 9 myths surrounding Alabama’s abortion law

Gov. Kay Ivey By Carole Novielli - Posted at LiveAction: Hailed as one of the “strongest pro-life laws in the country,” Alabama Governor Kay Ivey signed the “Human Life Protection Act” into law on Wednesday, making abortion and attempted abortion felony offenses in the state. The bill will not hold women who have abortions criminally or civilly responsible, and there is an exception in the bill to allow abortion “to prevent a serious health risk” to the woman, though many doctors agree that abortion is never actually medically necessary . Pro-abortion activists’ claims surrounding Alabama’s pro-life bill are a continuation of the misinformation being spread around pro-life bills passed recently in several states. Live Action News recently debunked myths surrounding Georgia’s Heartbeat Bill. Here we will decipher between fact or fiction regarding Alabama’s recently passed Human Life Protection Act . Live Action News previously covered that the Alabama bill: “make[s] ab

Commentary on Alabama's New Abortion Ban

By Rusty Lee Thomas - Operation Save America We received a phone call today from a reporter from Huntsville, AL. She desired to speak with a local representative from OSA. She was interested in our response to this new abortion ban in AL that has made national news. I gave her a few local contacts and discussed briefly the ramifications of this new law. Before I talked with the reporter, I first talked with Pastors, Matt Trewhella and Jon Speed. I was not fully informed of this new law, so, I asked these dear brothers their take on this development in AL. Their counsel was the basis of my response. First, the strength of this new law clearly demonstrates that people in AL want to stop the killing of the preborn. This is a good thing. It also demonstrates that our pursuit of the paradigm shift to abolish abortion is having impact in our nation. Lastly, as far as an incremental, pro-life law, it is the furthest towards the truth than any other law before it. There are weak

SC Senate approves State Budget with Planned Parenthood and certain ‘Abortion’ Funding, by 38-6 Vote, April 18, 2019

AL House Passes Near Total 'Abortion' Ban Bill - HB314

By Steve Lefemine, Executive Director of Christians for Personhood: AL House Passes Near Total 'Abortion' Ban Bill - HB314 April 30 --- 'Alabama lawmakers look to overturn Roe with abortion ban' https://www.christianpost.com/news/alabama-lawmakers-look-to-overturn-roe-with-abortion-ban.html Excerpts: A bill that would make it a crime for a doctor to perform an abortion, including cases of rape and incest, overwhelmingly passed in the Alabama House Tuesday, 74 - 3. "The heart of this bill is to confront a decision that was made by the courts in 1973 that said the baby in a womb is not a person," (Rep Terri) Collins declared. --- CP Comments: HB314 is stronger than the recent 'Heartbeat' bills, and bans nearly all surgical and RU486 "abortions" (child-murders), including banning rape and incest "abortions" (though does not ban early abortifacient chemical "abortions"). However, HB314 still

She Could Not Pray for Years...BUT Then Chose Life...

Image Source: The Writing on the Wall By Vicky Kaseorg - Posted at The Writing on the Wall: A young woman stopped her car beside me, her eyes wide and frightened. The security guard from the abortion center rushed over to tell her the abortion center was the next driveway. She glanced at him but reached for the literature I handed her. “We have free ultrasound and pregnancy testing on our RV parked right here,” I told her. “Would you be willing to look at your baby on the ultrasound?” “Free?”she asked. Her eyes were shiny, tears threatening. I knew this was a woman that did not want to abort but some overriding concern was on her heart. So I shared the humanity of her child, our resources, and the truth of God’s word regarding unborn life in the few seconds I had before the security guard insisted she move. This time, she listened to the security guard’s insistence, and with an apologetic look my way, pulled into the abortion center. I watched her as she walked to the do
