Kansas Supreme Court Rules Rights to ‘Liberty, Pursuit of Happiness’ Include ‘Right’ to Abortion

By Heather Clark - Posted at Christian News Network: TOPEKA, Kan. — The Supreme Court of Kansas has ruled that the rights to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” in the state Constitution’s Bill of Rights encompass a woman’s “right” to an abortion. “We conclude that, through the language in section 1 , the state’s founders acknowledged that the people had rights that pre-existed the formation of the Kansas government. There they listed several of these natural, inalienable rights …,” the court wrote in its opinion , released on Friday. “Included in that limited category is the right of personal autonomy, which includes the ability to control one’s own body, to assert bodily integrity, and to exercise self-determination.” “This right allows a woman to make her own decisions regarding her body, health, family formation, and family life — decisions that can include whether to continue a pregnancy. Although not absolute, this right is fundamental,” it asserted. “Accordingly,

FDA: 24 women die from abortion pill, thousands of serious complications

By Carole Novielli - Posted at Saynsumthn's Blog: The FDA has approved a generic version of the abortion pill Mifeprex, at a time when more deaths are being reported and the abortion industry is pushing for the dangerous abortion inducing chemicals to be dispensed online or by mail. According to a notice from the FDA, the generic version is approved for use as an abortifacient. This news comes just a day before the FDA updated its adverse effects reports through 2018 , stating, “As of December 31, 2018, there were reports of 24 deaths of women associated with Mifeprex since the product was approved in September 2000, including two cases of ectopic pregnancy resulting in death; and several cases of severe systemic infection (also called sepsis), including some that were fatal…” The FDA’s 2017 report put the number of deaths at 22. This means that in 2018 alone, two more women died from taking the abortion pill . And yet, now a generic version is going to be made availabl

A few thoughts about the abortion movie…

By Elizabeith Prata - Posted at The End Time: Unplanned the movie was recently released. It is from the Christian film-makers PureFlix, produced and directed by Cary Solomon, Chuck Konzelman, Daryl C. Lefever, Joe Knopp, and Chris Jones. The movie blurb goes: “Abby Johnson becomes the youngest clinic director in the history of Planned Parenthood, then a life-changing experience turns her into an anti-abortion activist.” The ‘life-changing event’ Abby experienced was actually watching an abortion on sonogram. The movie is based on the true life story of the real person Abby Johnson. It is rated R for graphic violence. It shows the procedure of a chemically-induced abortion in realistic terms and also an abortion procedure via sonogram (The sonogram abortion, though not real and done with special effects, accurately depicts a true abortion and it’s pretty graphic). The film is also getting good reviews and is showing at more screens the second week than the first. It came in

Groundbreaking Case: Father Suing Clinic Over Aborted Child

By Amy Schlichter - Posted at VIP News : A groundbreaking case is being filed in Alabama after a woman aborted her unborn child despite the baby’s father’s wishes for her to keep the baby. Ryan Magers, the father of the child, is suing the Women’s Center for Reproductive Alternatives after they provided medical abortion pills to his pregnant ex-girlfriend despite his adamant pleas against the abortion. Currently, in the United States, it has been ruled that a father has no rights over his child if the child is unborn. A woman can get an abortion without the father’s consent or without even notifying him of the procedure. Continue reading...

‘End This Holocaust’: Hundreds Testify Into the Night Before State Committee to Outlaw Abortion in Texas

Source: Christian News Network By Heather Clark - Posted at Christian News Network: More than 300 people testified on Monday evening in favor of a bill that would outlaw abortion in Texas in a legislative hearing that lasted for over eight hours, continuing into the night to 3 a.m. Pastors, women who have had abortions, fathers who regretted taking their girlfriend for an abortion, men and women who could have been aborted themselves, and children who wanted to speak out behalf of the babies all addressed the House committee. Some of the testimonies were personal and tearful in sharing their own stories, and others simply exhorted the five Republicans and four Democrats to do what is right in the eyes of God and advance House Bill 896 to the full House. “Since when has killing any human being been legal?” “Our Constitution never said that murder is a right or a privilege.” “Why does size matter? A human being is a human being.” These were among the many points made during the

Are Babies EVER an Inconvenience? Mt 19

Expecting a baby - The Salty Scrivener By Bob McEvoy - Posted at The Salty Scrivener: The Value of Children (Born and Unborn) Text. Matthew 19:13-15 What value do we place on tiny human life? – The Jews of Jesus’ day had respect for the unborn and the newly born child, unlike the pagan nations that surrounded them. The penalty under the law of Moses for infanticide was death. Leviticus 20:2 Needless to say the Israelites were disobedient. Jeremiah 32:34-36 The penalty for the death of unborn children was just as severe. Exodus 21:22-24 – In Greek and Roman society, a much more ‘cultured and civilised place to be’ the murder of newly born children was considered barbaric and uncivilised, so a child would be exposed on a hillside or open place; it wasn’t considered murder, because who knew whether a passing stranger, or even a god might come along and adopt the child. The reality was that the baby would die of dehydration, or be eaten alive by animals. – Our mo

Men of God Preparing to Address the City Council of Phoenix By Rev. Rusty Lee Thomas   -  Operation Save America Brethren, you never know what a day serving in God's Kingdom will bring. In God's Providence, I happened to be at the right place at the right time. Apologia Church and End Abortion Now had just happened to have scheduled addressing the city council of Phoenix today to demand they do their duty before God and make Phoenix a sanctuary city for the preborn. They invited me to join with them to address the city council. It was a blessed privilege and honor. Please keep them in your prayers. They are doing a great kingdom work, not only in Phoenix, but reaching far beyond. The following are my comments. I was not able to complete the entire message, but got most of it in before the 3 minute time limit ran out. City Council Statement: Thou shall not murder!" God's commandments are binding upon all men, at all times, and in all nations. He did not

A Cautionary Tale: Eric Craig Harrah

Former Abortion Business Owner and Pro-life Celebrity Eric Craig Harrah - AP Photo By Lynn Vincent - Posted at World Magazine : A look back to a story from 2000 about an abortion business operator who was rushed into the Christian pro-life spotlight and crumbled under pressure Former abortion business director Carol Everett was in the second group. “I told Paul Grabill that he needed to disciple Eric, hold his hand, and help him,” said Everett, who added that the Christians who helped in her conversion from abortion to Christ discipled her daily for nearly two years before letting her go public. “I begged him not to let Eric continue speaking. I told him, ‘When someone gets in Eric’s face and asks him how he thinks he can be forgiven after what he’s done, he has to know who God is,’ and that forgiveness comes from God.” Everett said Grabill “patted me on the head over the phone” and told her Harrah would be fine. Nov. 4, 1997, was the day Eric Craig Harrah, an abortion bus
