Illinois Governor Signs Law Letting Teen Girls Get an Abortion without Parents Knowing

By Michael Foust - Posted at Christian Headlines : Published 12.22.2021 Saying he was “protecting reproductive rights,” Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker signed a bill into law Friday that allows teenage girls to obtain an abortion without notifying their parents. The new law, dubbed the “ Youth Health and Safety Act ” (HB 370), repeals a 1995 law that required minors to notify their parent or guardian 48 hours prior to having an abortion. “With reproductive rights under attack across the nation, Illinois is once again establishing itself as a leader in ensuring access to healthcare services,” Pritzker said. “This repeal was essential, because it was the most vulnerable pregnant minors who were punished by this law: victims of rape and physical abuse in unsafe homes.” Read more...

The abortion pill: So dangerous it needs a rare safety requirement

By Carole Novielli - Posted at LiveAction: UPDATE, 12/17/21: In 2021, the abortion pill saw its 21st anniversary since its approval in 2000, with an increased number of abortion industry schemes flouting FDA’s safety regulations. The push to lift the REMS continued despite reasons to question the abortion pill’s safety. In April of 2021 , the Biden Administration’s FDA temporarily enabled abortion pill distribution by mail during the COVID-19 pandemic . Then on December 16, 2021 the FDA ruled to remove the in-person requirements and permanately allow the abortion pill to be shipped by mail. As of June 30, 2021 the FDA reported mifepristone had caused 26 deaths and tragically revealed that an “estimated number of women who have used mifepristone in the U.S. for medical termination of pregnancy through the end of June 2021 is approximately 4.9 million women. FDA makes mail-order abortion pills permanent

By Tom Strode - Posted at Baptist Press: WASHINGTON (BP) – Abortion pills may be obtained through the mail under a permanent rule issued Thursday (Dec. 16) by the Biden administration, prompting protests from pro-life advocates not only because of the drugs’ lethal effect on unborn children but because of their risk to women. The policy revision by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) made permanent an April announcement that it would not enforce during the COVID-19 pandemic a requirement that a woman must appear in person to receive mifepristone, the first drug in a two-step process known as medical or chemical abortion. While mifepristone may still be dispensed in qualified health-care facilities, it also may be mailed or delivered to a woman by a certified pharmacy. The unsurprising FDA action followed by barely two weeks Supreme Court oral arguments regarding a case that could result in the reversal of the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion nationwide. If Roe

Wisconsin Gov. Vetoes Bill Requiring Medical Care for Babies Who Survive an Abortion

Gov. Tony Evers  By Michael Foust - Posted at Christian Headlines: Wisconsin’s Democratic governor vetoed five pro-life bills Friday, including one that would require medical care for a baby who survives an abortion and another one that would prohibit sex-selective, race-selective and disability-selective abortions. Gov. Tony Evers announced news of the vetoes on social media, alleging the bills “would restrict access to reproductive healthcare in Wisconsin.” “I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again today: as long as I’m governor, I will veto any legislation that turns back the clock on reproductive rights in this state – and that’s a promise,” Evers tweeted. PERSONHOOD IS THE KEY TO ENDING "ABORTION" IN AMERICA.

Christians for Personhood "Twelve states would immediately restrict abortion if Roe disappears, and others would be likely to impose significant new restrictions," reported Axios. "Overruling Roe will not put an end to conflicts about abortion," Ziegler said before [ SCOTUS oral ] arguments began. "The right-to-life movement** is aiming for the recognition of personhood and the outlawing of every abortion, nationwide. Roe is just the beginning." ** Note: The unbiblical, incrementalist, Romish/ecumenical pro-life industry (e.g., National Right to Life, US Conference of [Roman] Catholic Bishops, et al.) has been the biggest hindrance and opponent and obstruction to establishing personhood. Personhood legislation has been filed continuously in the federal US Congress every year since 1994, and had at times been filed earlier than that. Personhood legislation was first filed in the SC Legislature 22 years ago in 1998, and has been filed continuously every ye

Supreme Court to weigh opportunity to reverse Roe

By Tom Strode - Posted at Baptist Press: WASHINGTON (BP) – The U.S. Supreme Court will consider Wednesday (Dec. 1) a case that pro-life Americans hope will finally bring an end to a permissive, nationwide abortion regime that has lasted nearly a half-century. The justices will hear oral arguments regarding Mississippi’s 2018 Gestational Age Act, which bans abortions of unborn children whose gestational age is more than 15 weeks. Specifically, they have said their ruling will be limited to whether, as the state said in its petition to the court, “all pre-viability prohibitions on elective abortions are unconstitutional.” Viability for an unborn child, or the ability to survive outside the womb, is typically considered to be several weeks after the limit set by Mississippi’s law. The Supreme Court’s major opinions that have controlled abortion law – Roe v. Wade in 1973 and Planned Parenthood v. Casey in 1992 – prohibit states from banning abortions before an unborn child is viable. The

41 U.S. cities ban abortion as Sanctuary Cities for the Unborn

By Diana Chandler - Posted at The Pathway: LONGVIEW, Texas (BP) – There are 41 local governments across the United States that have adopted ordinances banning abortions and declaring themselves Sanctuary Cities for the Unborn since the grassroots movement launched in 2019, movement founder Mark Lee Dickson said. Dickson was on hand when Mason, Ohio, a town of about 33,000 people 30 minutes northeast of Cincinnati, became the latest city to declare itself a sanctuary for the unborn. The Mason City Council adopted the ordinance by a 4-3 vote Oct. 25. “When I meet people who are interested in outlawing abortion in their city I always ask them if their community is ready for such a task. I ask them about what resources they have in their community to help women who find themselves in an unexpected pregnancy and I ask them if the area churches are involved in supporting those local efforts,” Dickson said Tuesday (Nov. 2). “If they do not have that in line, then they have some work to do.”

'Fight to protect our daughters'

Missouri is among 26 states (in orange) that would ban abortion if the U.S. Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade. Missouri's neighbor, Illinois (in white), is not expected to ban abortion even with the removal of Roe v. Wade. (Guttmacher Institute image)  By Don Hinkle - Posted at The Pathway: Pro-life Missourians to challenge Illinois law allowing minors to get abortions without parental consent JEFFERSON CITY – Illinois Democrat Gov. J.B. Pritzker will soon sign a bill into law that undermines parental authority by repealing a law requiring parents or guardians be notified when girls younger than 18 are referred to abortionists. The move by Illinois lawmakers is likely to trigger a legislative, and perhaps a legal, challenge from Missouri since it will undercut pro-life legislation signed into law in 2019 by Missouri Gov. Mike Parson. That law requires written parental consent before girls under the age of 18 can get an abortion in Missouri. It does not apply to minors traveling t

ABORTIONIST AND PLANNED PARENTHOOD IN COLUMBIA, SC WERE SUED BY CLIENT

Planned Parenthood's abortionist "Dr" Harvey Brown was sued after committing an "abortion" on a woman despite being told by her to stop before he started.  Abby Johnson 'Exposing Planned Parenthood's Appalling Secret!'  https://youtu.be/QOLlpneeAzk   Sep 10, 2021 From Columbia Christians for Life: [As reported by Abby Johnson in her video; and/or as contained in Kimberly Burgess' lawsuit]  Before "Dr" Harvey Brown started to perform the "abortion", Kimberly Burgess expressly told Harvey Brown she did not want to go through with the "abortion", and wanted it to be stopped.  "Dr" Brown slapped Kimberly Burgess on her thigh three times very hard, and said, "Shut up before you run off my clients."  Harvey Brown then inserted some type of vacuum instrument inside Kimberly Burgess and committed the "abortion".  After the "abortion", Kimberly Burgess experienced serious complications

Reflections: A Busy Day at the Murder Mill

By Geoffrey Kirkland - Posted at Vassal of the King: As I do every Tuesday for my lunch hour, I went to a local abortion clinic in Granite City, IL (Hope Clinic for Women). I’ve been going there for nearly 8 years preaching the Word of God, pleading with women to not murder their babies, offering to adopt their babies and walk with them every step of the way, and offering free ultrasounds (through a pregnancy center close by and a mobile medical unit right on site). Today was similar to other Tuesdays in that many women flooded in. In fact, I think there were at least 25 women that I saw go into Hope Clinic for Women. It is one of the largest hubs of murder mills in the central midwest area. Tuesday often brings women who are late term who have come for the kill. It’s terrifying and evil. It’s saddening and maddening all at the same time. It was busy. Very busy. I drove up and arrived about 5 minutes before they usually start their “business”. When I walked up to the front of the park

Ohio lawmakers introduce abortion bill that goes further than Texas law

By Mychael Schnell - Posted at The Hill: “The sanctity of human life, born and preborn, must be preserved in Ohio,” Powell said, according to Cleveland.com. “The 2363 Act is about protecting our fundamental, constitutional right to be born and live. Abortion kills children, scars families, and harms women. We can and must do better.” Ohio Republicans introduced a bill on Wednesday that calls for a total ban on abortions in the state, reaching farther than the Texas “heartbeat” law that is currently under examination by the Supreme Court. The bill, called the 2363 Act , which the lawmakers said is the number of children lost to abortion everyday in the U.S., seeks to ban all abortions in Ohio and, like the Texas law, empower “any person” to bring civil action against an individual who performs and abortion or “knowingly engages in conduct that aids or abets the performance or inducement of an abortion.” Read more...

Justices order court to reconsider ruling on abortion mandate

By Tom Strode - Posted at Baptist Press: WASHINGTON (BP) – The U.S. Supreme Court signaled Monday (Nov. 1) its dissatisfaction with a lower court’s ruling on a state abortion mandate and ordered it to reconsider that decision in light of the justices’ unanimous opinion in support of religious freedom earlier this year. In the order, the high court nullified a New York court ruling against a Roman Catholic diocese. The diocese had challenged a state requirement that employers fund abortions in workers’ health insurance plans. The justices instructed the state court to reconsider its decision in light of their June opinion in Fulton v. Philadelphia. In that 9-0 ruling, the high court upheld a faith-based adoption and foster-care agency’s right to carry out its ministry according to its religious convictions. The justices agreed the city of Philadelphia violated the free exercise of religion by refusing to contract with Catholic Social Services because it does not place children with sam

Group that asked Big Tech to ban abortion pill reversal ads took all its claims from pro-abortion sources

By Carole Novielli - Posted at Live Action News : The Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) recently blasted Google and Facebook for allowing pro-life group Live Action to run ads directing women who regret taking the abortion pill to the Abortion Pill Reversal (APR) hotline. But CCDH didn’t stop there. The little-known group went a step further by requiring penance from Facebook and Google, demanding that they donate revenue from the pro-life ads to “reproductive health charities” and “women’s health organizations” — meaning the abortion industry. It is unclear whether the social media organizations will acquiesce to this portion of CCDH’s demands. The demands were published in a report entitled, “Endangering Women for Profit,” which claimed that APR is “dangerous and unproven.” In reality, APR consists of medically supervised treatment with the hormone progesterone to counter the progesterone-blocking effects of the abortion pill (mifepristone). The Texas Heartbeat child-murder by "abortion" regulation

By Steve Lefemine - Christians for Personhood The Texas Heartbeat child-murder by "abortion" regulation and therefore perpetuation law, is unjust; it does not establish justice, as the LORD requires of Man.  Psalm 89:14 Psalm 97:2 Micah 6:8 Amos 5:15 Exodus 20:13 Matthew 19:18, KJV   Personhood at fertilization with no exceptions establishes justice, as the right to life of "persons" is already protected in federal and state constitutional law, and state murder/homicide statutory law. All human beings are natural persons. Personhood is Creator God-given, inherent, and unalienable. Blacks Law Dictionary (2009) defines "person" as "A human being. - Also termed natural person."  English jurist William Blackstone on the rightful and just basis for all human laws:  "The doctrines thus delivered we call the revealed or divine law, and they are to be found only in the holy scriptures."  "Upon these two foundations, the law of nature and

PERSON OR THING?

By Elisabeth Elliot - Posted at  Elisabeth Elliot Quotes:   “Not long ago Time magazine reported another triumph of modern medical technology. An unborn child, found, by means of a process called amniocentesis, to suffer from Down’s syndrome, was aborted (terminated? quietly done away with? killed?). It was all very safe and scientific and sterile. Not only was there little danger to the mother, there was no harm to the other twin in the mother’s womb. The affected child (Is that an acceptable word? Should I say afflicted? unwanted? undesirable? useless? disposable?) was relieved of its life by being relieved of its lifeblood, which was slowly withdrawn through a long needle which pierced its beating heart. This was called a therapeutic abortion. The word therapeutic means serving to cure or heal. The strange part about this case was that nobody except the aborted child was ill. Who then was cured? Who was healed?” “Dr. Phillip Stubblefield, a gynecologist at Boston’s Massachusetts Ge

SICK: State reports show babies aborted mere days before their due dates

By Carole Novielli  - Posted at Live Action News: The abortion industry and its friends in the media frequently claim pro-lifers who claim babies can be aborted up to birth are exaggerating. But data from various states is proving the pro-abortion narrative false. Kentucky has indicated that, while a pregnancy lasts for about 40 weeks, the lives of two preborn babies were violently ended by abortion in the state at 37 and 38 weeks gestation in 2019 and two babies were killed by abortion at 35 and 37 weeks gestation in 2017 . Though Kentucky doesn’t specify where the abortions were committed, the reports listed four facilities as committing abortions in 2019: EMW Women’s Center, Norton Hospital, Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital (NWCH), and the University of Louisville. All but NWCH were listed in 2017 as well. Read more...

Sidewalk Rescuing and Ministry, by a Minister

By ThePublicProlifer - Posted at KeepLifeLegal.com : Rescuing is the business and calling of every Christian... Sidewalk rescue is the new sidewalk counseling. Don’t be confused, sidewalk rescuing is not going onto private property to shut down the abortion mill for the day. And by the way, we completely agree with traditional rescuing. Read more about Biblical Rescues, Law Breakers & The Prolife Movement HERE . To answer your question, YES, traditional and sidewalk rescues are biblical. In the New Testament, the Greek word SOZOS [Strongs G4982] means: 1) to save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction 1a) one (from injury or peril) 1a1) to save a suffering one (from perishing), i.e. one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health 1b1) to preserve one who is in danger of destruction, to save or rescue Read more here.

Church Leaders Say Johnson & Johnson Shot Should Be Avoided If Alternatives Available

By Tom G. Jelten - Posted at NPR: "We should oppose authorizing or funding research rooted in the taking of innocent human life," says Russell Moore, president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention. The new Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine may offer the best prospect for protecting as many Americans as possible, as quickly as possible, but some U.S. faith leaders say they have moral concerns about its development. Unlike the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines, the Johnson & Johnson vaccine was produced in part through the use of cell lines derived from an aborted human fetus. In a statement released this week, leaders of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops said that this feature of the vaccine raises questions about its permissibility. Read more here. Is Missouri Abortion free?

Posted at KeepLifeLegal: "Two major killing mills are just across the river from St. Louis for a reason, not an accident." Yes and no. Because TECHNICALLY Missouri is ‘abortion free’ because they built a MEGA KILLING CENTER just across the river in Illinois to avoid the 72 mandatory waiting period in Missouri. At this time, the Planned Parenthood in St. Louis is a glorified referral center. Don’t believe the hype from prolife groups shouting the victory. It’s geography, not victory. Read more...
