From abortion nurse to abortion pill reversal nurse - She knows the reality of the abortion industry

By Christa Brown - Posted at Pregnancy Help News: And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony - Revelation 12:11 This is the Word that Lisa lives by. Lisa has seen both sides of Big Abortion and now she is moved to save lives every single day. From a young age Lisa wanted to help women and she knew this would be through a nursing career. When she saw an advertisement for a position in a women’s clinic, she believed this was her opportunity to fulfill that dream. Sadly, this began her nine-year employment in the abortion clinics. Believing she was offering needed healthcare, Lisa assisted with surgical abortions for four years until the abortion pill became available. Lisa was then assigned to help patients starting chemical abortion and was even given a cell phone to take after-hour calls. For five more years she helped women start their abortions with a pill in the clinic and then complete their abortions at home. Continue here...

Biden pledges to make abortion rights No. 1 priority in Congress

By Tom Strode - Posted at Baptist Press: WASHINGTON (BP) – Pro-life leaders expressed their strong objection to President Biden’s promise Tuesday (Oct. 18) to make enshrining Roe v. Wade in law his legislative priority if Democrats control Congress in January. If voters elect more Democrats to the U.S. Senate and keep his party in the majority in the House of Representatives, the “first bill” he will send to Congress will be “to codify Roe v. Wade,” Biden said in a speech dedicated to the abortion issue. If Congress approves the legislation, the president said he will sign it into law in January, 50 years after the U.S. Supreme Court’s Roe ruling legalized abortion nationwide. Biden’s pledge is the latest evidence of the devotion of his administration and party to protect expansive abortion rights, especially in the wake of the high court’s June opinion that overruled Roe and returned abortion regulation to the states. South Carolina Supreme Court takes up 2021 ban on abortions 'after cardiac activity is detected'

South Carolina Supreme Court takes up state's abortion ban By JAMES POLLARD (Associated Press/Report for America) - Posted at WRAL News: Published October 19. 2022 COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina Supreme Court justices grilled lawyers over the extent of the right to privacy in a case Wednesday that could determine the scope of the state's abortion restrictions. The hearing marked the latest legal challenge to South Carolina's 2021 ban on abortions after cardiac activity is detected, typically around six weeks, with exceptions for pregnancies caused by rape or incest, or those that endanger the patient's life. The law — previously suspended by federal courts — took effect shortly after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. The state's high court temporarily blocked it in August as the justices considered this case. Continue here... 87-year-old concentration camp survivor is one of 11 pro-lifers recently arrested by FBI

By Nancy Flanders - Posted at LiveAction: Pro-life activist Eva Edl was one of four pro-lifers charged with violating the FACE (Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances) this month in relation to a March 2021 abortion facility rescue at Carafem in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. The event was aimed at reaching abortion-minded women in hopes of helping them to choose life for their babies with confidence. Edl is 87 years old and is a German survivor of a communist prisoner-of-war concentration camp during World War II. Following her escape from that camp, she began a legacy of fighting for the right to life for all human beings. “The first time I realized there were abortion clinics in our country was in 1988,” she said , according to a previous Live Action News report. “I said to my husband, ‘these are the death camps of America.’ I saw people sitting in front of abortion clinics in Atlanta, and I’ve been involved ever since.” She explains on her website that the pro-life movement must be bolde

Rep. Cori Bush: I Told the Abortion Doctor to Stop the Abortion, and They 'Ignored Me'

By Michael Foust - Posted at Christian Headlines : Democratic Rep. Cori Bush reveals in a new book that a doctor performed an abortion on her against her will after she had made an appointment and changed her mind. Bush, a U.S. representative from Missouri, discusses the traumatic moment in her new book, The Forerunner: A Story of Pain and Perseverance in America. Having undergone one abortion, she says she falsely believed she was emotionally prepared for a second abortion. "I was thinking back to the first abortion – 'Okay, you've done this before, you know the rooms, you know what it looks like, you know what it feels like in this place.'… I thought I was ready," she told host Margeret Hoover in an episode of PBS' Firing Line. FBI charges multiple individuals for peaceful protests at abortion facility

Posted at LiveAction: In early March of 2021, a group of individuals committed to saving the lives of preborn children visited the Carafem abortion facility in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, as part of a “rescue” — an event meant to reach women seeking abortion, to persuade them to choose life for their preborn children instead. Today, October 5, 2022, that event of more than a year ago culminated in a visit from the FBI to at least one of the activist’s homes. Other individuals, who either participated or were merely present at the facility that day, were ordered to report to their local authorities to be charged under the federal FACE ( Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances ) Act along with charges of conspiracy. The event in March 2021 was reportedly peaceful, with participants lining the inside hallway of a shared general medical office building which, in one area, houses the Carafem abortion facility. The rescuers who were gathered that day prayed and sang, and the event was nonviolent.

Heads up IL and surrounding states: 'Planned Parenthood mobile clinic will take abortion to red-state borders'

By Sarah McCammon - Posted at NPR: With a growing number of patients in states that now prohibit abortion traveling for the procedure , Planned Parenthood says it will soon open its first mobile abortion clinic in the country, in southern Illinois. "Our goal is to reduce the hundreds of miles that people are having to travel now in order to access care...and meet them where they are," said Yamelsie Rodriguez, President of Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri, said in an interview with NPR. The mobile clinic will begin offering consultations and dispensing abortion pills later this year. It will operate within Illinois, where abortion remains legal , but will be able to travel closer to neighboring states' borders, reducing the distance many patients travel for the procedure. The Satanic Temple Calls Indiana's Near-Total Abortion Ban a Violation of Religious Freedom in New Lawsuit

By Milton Quintanilla - Posted at Christian Headlines: "When a member of TST has an unwanted pregnancy, she exercises her religious beliefs as expressions of Tenets III and V by engaging in the Satanic Abortion Ritual," the lawsuit states. "The Indiana Abortion Ban effectively prohibits the exercise of the Satanic Abortion Ritual." The Satanic Temple filed a lawsuit against the state of Indiana last week over its near-total abortion ban, arguing that it violates religious freedom. According to Faithwire , the new law restricts abortion but offers exceptions for cases of rape, incest, fetal abnormalities or when the mother's life or health is at risk. W. James MacNaughton, an attorney for The Satanic Temple, argued that women should have control over their bodies during pregnancy. "Because you own, in the property sense, your uterus, then you have the right to control its disposition as a matter of property law," MacNaughton told WISH-TV . MacNaughton&
