A Not-So-Political Post

Posted at The Morning Center : One of the following things is true about you: You haven’t been on Facebook or Twitter AND you haven’t turned on a TV or radio in the last six months.  You’re aware there’s an election coming up next month. Since you’re reading a blog post, I’m going to assume you’re in group #2. Elections can be fun and crazy. Even when there’s no Presidential candidates at the top of the ticket the even year elections can cause quite a frenzy on social media and at dinner parties. People have a lot of passion about their candidates and issues and sometimes we find the conversations descending into arguments faster than a Ferarri gets to 60 MPH from a standstill. Because of that, you may be tired of talk of the election. You may be telling Facebook “show me more” of the cute baby and cat pictures while muting some of your friends on Twitter for the next 30 days. And you’re here, reading this post and thinking, “what have I gotten myself into now?” I don’t

Alabama Supreme Court Upholds Personhood of Unborn Babies; Calls for End of Roe v. Wade

By Michael Gryboski - Posted at The Christian Post : Alabama's highest court has recently released a decision that recognizes the personhood of unborn babies, and includes a concurrent opinion that calls for the overturning of Roe v. Wade. In the case of Jessie Livell Phillips v. State of Alabama , the Alabama Supreme Court upheld a murder conviction for a man who in 2009 killed his pregnant wife and their unborn child in a ruling released last week. Justice Michael Bolin, author of the court opinion, said in the ruling that since one of the victims of the 2009 homicide was an unborn baby, he felt an obligation to "expound" on why the court considered an unborn baby a "person." "... under the criminal laws of the state of Alabama, the value of the life of an unborn child is no less than the value of the lives of other persons. The trial court's additional commentary that this country is founded upon equal protection and due process for all

‘I’ve Picked Up Fetuses’: Former Stericycle Driver Confirms Medical Waste Giant’s Disposal of Aborted Babies

By Heather Clark - Posted at Christian News Network : A former driver for America’s largest medical waste company, Stericycle, confirmed in a recent interview with a pro-life organization that the entity does indeed dispose of the bodies of aborted babies despite the company’s claim that it does not, advising that he has personally witnessed workers at an abortion facility drop dead babies and baby parts into a medical waste container before handing it off to him for disposal. A video recently released by the Ohio-based group Created Equal provides audio footage of the driver, whose anonymity was maintained, outlining that he became concerned that he was hearing one thing from company representatives while seeing another on the job. “The most disturbing thing for me is [that] in that compliance meeting, this manager, he’s saying, ‘We do not haul fetuses. We don’t haul heads. We don’t haul torsos,'” the man explained. “[But] I have firsthand been into that clinic. I saw t

The Most Important Movie You’ve Never Heard Of

Earl Billings as Dr. Kermit Gosnell ( Hat Tip Films LLC) By Michelle Malkin - Posted at National Review : In 2013, Gosnell was convicted of murdering three babies born alive in his death factory and found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of 41-year-old Bhutanese refugee Karnamaya Mongar, who died of an inhumanely administered drug overdose at Gosnell’s “Women’s Medical Society.” Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer opens Friday. It’s here. Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer debuts in theaters nationwide on October 12. I do believe this groundbreaking film by indie producers Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney is the most important movie in America right now — a true-life saga of good vs. evil, deadly medical malpractice, systemic government malfeasance, and cultural apathy toward the most vulnerable members of our society. I first reported on this real-life horror story nearly eight years ago, but you’ve probably not heard or

My Story – There IS Beauty for Ashes

By Katherine Marple - Posted at KeepLifeLegal : I was on my way to the abortion clinic with my mom. It’s been so long ago that I don’t remember the day of the week or what month it was; but I do remember that is was 1978. Isaiah 61:3 says, …..‘To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.’ When I found out I was pregnant, my mother told me that under no uncertain terms was I going to have a baby and live in her house. My grandmother (who lived with us) wouldn’t look at me. You’re smarter than this, they said. So I left. There’s not a lot of places a pregnant 17 year old girl can go who doesn’t have a job or a car. I ended up at my aunt’s house. I knew she would be empathetic because she loved children and had many of them. She might be able to talk my mother out of t
