Columbia, SC
April 8, 2020

***Normally, full SC Senate is 27 R, 19 D. However April 8, eight Senators were out (1 R, 7 D), so voting on CR was by 26 R, 12 D; Republicans having 2/3+ super-majority.

Senate met until after 6pm Wed., passing State Budget CR with "Abortion" and Planned Parenthood funding still in there.

NOT ONE SC Senator voted against State Budget CR which funds the shedding of innocent blood and mass-murderers Planned Parenthood !

Senator Cash offered a flawed Amdt (Amdt No. 6, cosponsored by Senator Rice) defunding certain (not all) PEBA "abortions", and defunding Planned Parenthood in the future (but allowing funding to continue while a federal injunction is in place), but withdrew his own Amdt before any vote was taken [ see Video Archives, Senate, April 8 @ - begin 4 hr 45 min video time ].

Also, the Amdt language did not address DHHS Medicaid Hyde Amendment "abortion" funding at all.

The effort, though flawed, was the only such Amdt even offered in SC Legislature (albeit then withdrawn by its primary sponsor), in either the fake "pro-life" Republican-majority SC House or Senate on April 8.

[And then Senator Cash voted Aye to passing the CR which included "abortion" and Planned Parenthood funding (???)]

So the CR passed with NOT ONE Senator voting NAY. The vote was:

37 Ayes
0 Nays
1 Abstain

See Amdt No. 1 (right before Amdt No. 7) about halfway in online Senate Journal below for April 8. That is State Budget CR, continuing FY 2019-2020 funding into FY 2020-2021, including funding for selected child-murders by "abortion" and funding for mass-murderers Planned Parenthood
(Cash/Rice Amdt No. 6 is right after Amdt No. 7).

But the Germans did not invent eugenics. In fact they were inspired by the founder of the taxpayer funded Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger. The truth behind the genesis of that organization and its founder are much darker than most Americans realize. " Hosted by Colin D. Is Donald Trump Pro-Choice Again?

Posted at  American ProLifer: Published September 18, 2023 Asked whether he would support a 15 week abortion ban, Trump refused to answer. He also would not say if the preborn baby has any constitutional rights. NBC’s Meet the Press aired the first extensive mainstream media interview with former President Donald Trump of the 2024 campaign. The interview Kicked off the popular Sunday morning political show under a new host, Kristen Welker. During the interview, Welker peppered Trump with questions, often attempting to fact-check him with dubious claims of her own. On abortion, Ms. Welker took a decidedly pro-abortion position, presenting only the abortion lobby’s talking points and falsely “fact-checking” Trump by stating that Democrats do not support abortion until birth, which of course, they do.
