THE CONFUSING RESPONSE, OR LACK OF, TO THE CASE AGAINST CURTIS BOYD.

In recent months a new anti abortion Facebook page called, Abortion On Trial, began sharing details and footage regarding a civil wrongful death suit against late term abortionist Curtis Boyd. This Facebook page is posting under oath deposition videos of Boyd himself admitting to aborting 34 week old fetuses and claiming his surgical abortion facility has “no set period” on limiting abortion by gestational age. Admissions that are shocking to abortion supporters and anti abortion people alike.

In addition to the content regarding the advanced age of the fetuses being terminated at Boyd’s, there have also been releases regarding underage rape victims, Medicaid funded elective late term abortion, and a clear focus on the death of 23 year old Keisha Atkins.

Keisha Atkins died in February 2017 after an elective late term abortion at Boyd’s Albuquerque, New Mexico clinic Southwestern Women’s Options. The Atkins family is now suing S.W.O., Curtis Boyd, and two other physicians who performed Keisha’s abortion, Drs. Carmen Landau and Shannon Carr.

As Abortion On Trial exposes the events that led to Keisha’s death along with the gruesome details of how this late term abortion facility operates there seems to be a split in response from anti abortion individuals and groups.
